Georgia Basketball signs Lithonia guard Teshaun Hightower

The Bulldogs have signed a third member to their 2017 basketball recruiting class in Lithonia guard Teshaun Hightower.

Teshaun Hightower, a 6’5″ guard from Mt. Zion Prep School (Baltimore, MD), signed his national letter-of-intent to play for the Bulldogs, it was announced on Wednesday.

Hightower, who is a native of Lithonia, Georgia, made it official by signing his papers on Wednesday morning, the which was the first day of the NCAA’s spring signing period.

“We’re excited to add another talented Georgia native to our roster,” Fox said in a release. “Teshaun has great speed and quickness and the versatility to play a couple of different positions.”

Hightower was a first-team All-Gwinnett County selection by the Gwinnett Daily Post and first-team All-Region 7-AAAAAA after his senior season at Collins High School in 2015-16.

At Collins, Hightower averaged 14.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists-per-game for the Eagles, helping his team to a 25-5 record and a Sweet 16 appearance in the state tournament.
