Kennesaw State football hosts second-ever NFL pro day

For just the second time ever, NFL scouts were on the Kennesaw State University campus to see outgoing Owls players display their skills for the next level.

With two winning seasons under their belts, Kennesaw State University’s outgoing football players were on campus Saturday to workout in front of a whole host of professional scouts.

Besides Owls players, other prospects from area FCS, division II, division III, and NAIA programs were invited to take part in the workouts. Kennesaw State’s Derrick Farrow, Dante Blackmon and Chaston Bennett were in attendance for the Owls.

Scouts from the Falcons, Titans, Raiders, Jets, Redskins, Giants, Chiefs, Chargers, Packers, 49ers, and Colts were on hand to see the skills on display.
