Kennesaw’s Kendrick Ray named to NABC All-District Second Team

Senior guard Kendrick Ray picked another honor Wednesday after wrapping up his final season with the Kennesaw State Owls.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Ray had been named Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). See the full list of All-District teams HERE.

Ray, a Quinnipiac University transfer to KSU, was previously named Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Year, and A-Sun Second Team All-Conference last season. This season he became the first every Owl to pick up named A-Sun First Team honors.

“I’m very happy for Kendrick,” head coach Al Skinner said in a release from KSU. “Just another acknowledgement for an outstanding senior year. It’s something he should be very happy about. It speaks to the consistency that he played with throughout the season. I wish him continued success.”

On the season, Ray averaged a school record 21.2 points per game, and also set KSU’s single-season records with 656 total points.
