Recap: Inciarte homers twice, Braves hold for 5-4 win at Miami

After a five-game skid in their opening road trip, the Braves held on to beat the Marlins in a back-and-forth game Wednesday night.

Atlanta (2-6) went into game two with the Marlins (4-4) desperately needing a win, and had a battle of the long ball Wednesday night for a 5-4 win.

Ender Inciarte broke his slump with a pair of homers. He went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs and three RBI on the night. Freddie Freeman also had a solo shot bomb in the game.

Jaime Garcia gave up all four of the Marlins runs in five innings of work, but the bullpen was clutch with four innings of combined shutout pitching.  See the full box score HERE.
