Recap: Mercer falls to ETSU in SoCon Tournament quarterfinals

The Bears wrapped up their season on Saturday night, falling in a close game to East Tennessee State in the Southern Conference Tournament quarter finals.

Led by 18 points from Demetre Rivers, and 16 points from Jordan Strawberry, the Bears only managed 36.1 percent on field goals, but went a perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line. Ria’n Holland had 14 points of his own, but Mercer didn’t get much production from its bench.
