Recap: Tigers end season with win over South Carolina State

Down by ten points at one point int he second half, the Tigers rallied back Thursday night to cap the season with a 95-88 win over South Carolina State.

Savannah State (13-16, 10-6 MEAC) ended the 2016-17 season on a high note Thursday night, mounting a late comeback for a win over MEAC foe South Carolina State at home.

The Tigers were led by a 42 point effort from senior guard Troyce Manassa, who went 12-for-23 on field goals, and hit six three pointers for Savannah State.

SSU shot 44.2 on field goals, and hit a third of their three point attempts. A 16-for-23 effort from the free throw line helped put the Tigers over the hump to beat the Bulldogs.
